Fresh Cuts in a Snap Mirepoix Mix Ingredients

Ingredients

1 pkg. fresh cuts in a snap! Mirepoix Mix
1 lb. ground beef (or ground turkey)
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
½ cup breadcrumbs
1 tsp. smoked paprika
1 tsp. Kosher salt
¼ tsp. freshly cracked black pepper
⅓ cup BBQ sauce
4 burger buns
Lettuce, for serving
Sliced tomato, for serving
Sliced red onion, for serving

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine fresh cuts in a snap! Mirepoix Mix, ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Gently form into four equal-sized patties, about 1” thick.

Step 2

Place a large nonstick skillet over medium heat and coat with cooking spray. Cook the burgers for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160ºF.

Step 3

Once cooked, brush both sides of all burgers with BBQ sauce. Transfer cooked burgers to burger buns and serve with lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and sliced red onion.
