Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
1-½ cups beef broth
3 cups prepared mashed potatoes
Step 1
In a medium saucepan, bring 2-½ cups of water to a boil. Add rice packet and cook until done, about 15 minutes. Set aside.
Step 2
In a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef, breaking it up with the back of a wooden spoon or spatula. Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until meat is browned. Add in the carrots, celery, onion, and Rosemary & Thyme Seasoning, and cook for another 5 to 6 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.
Step 3
Stir in the cooked rice, Black Pepper Sauce, and beef broth and reduce the heat to medium-low. Allow to simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 10-15 minutes. Season to taste with salt.
Step 4
Preheat the broiler to high. Divide the meat and vegetable mixture among four bowls. Top each bowl with a spoonful of prepared mashed potatoes. Place two bowls on a cooking sheet and broil just until the tops of the mashed potatoes start to brown, about 1 minute. Remove and repeat the process for the other two bowls. Allow to cool slightly and serve.
